The Knight of Siena tapestry depicts a large section of the famous fresco located in the Palazzo Pubblico in Siena. It highlights Guidoriccio da Fogliano, the commander of the Sienese forces, during the siege of Montemassi (visible on the left). This impressive fresco, measuring approximately 31 feet, is believed to have been painted around 1330, two years after the siege, with the date displayed along the center of the fresco’s lower border.

Alternatively, this tapestry can be hung with a decorative pole of your choice.

If you decide you want to return the tapestry for a product refund, then you are responsible for the return shipping costs. Please note: Packaging materials need to be kept for inspection if a replacement item or refund is requested. If you do not keep the packing materials, unfortunately we cannot replace or refund your order.

Tapestry Hanging Options
After selecting your tapestry and adding it to the shopping bag, you can choose your hanging rod option from the hanging rod page by clicking here.
Choosing the right size
The black bar part of the hanging rods are telescopic and will fit any tapestry widths that fall within the size range specified. For example, if your tapestry was 90cm wide you would need a Size 2 hanging rod. Note: The hanging rod can be slid in or out to show as little or as much of the black bar as you would like.

We also offer the option to pay by Bank Transfer and Cheque - simply select the option of your choice at checkout.
