Heirloom was founded by James and Alla, who were inspired by their time living in Europe—particularly Tuscany and the Cotswolds—where they fell in love with the region's rich artistic heritage. Moved by the beauty and craftsmanship of Renaissance-era art, they returned to California in 1993 and began distributing fine European tapestries, fulfilling their dream of sharing these timeless treasures with others.
